Beauty.

What makes beauty? Beautiful, handsome, attractive...what makes one beautiful in another ones mind?

My inspiration for this post all started while I was watching a film on the Sundance channel, called "Paris" a french film with a sad yet life awakening plot. Anyways, the older man who was a college professor looked out into the sea of students a young girl caught his eye...his words to himself were as follows; "And I thought, why? Why her? Why is she so beautiful? And why are all the others so...not ugly...but lets say, banal, invisible?"

So what is it? What does leave others so invisible? Our minds react to what it sees, when it is sunny out we squint, when we walk into a room full of bright colors our eyes wonder to take everything in, when shopping our eyes go to what we find most appealing...all sorts of other fashion lays ahead but we only chose what we like...why? Why is it only certain features catch our eye?

We all have a "type" no matter if we try and deny it, a type isn't just the look but the persona of an individual.

Who made the universal rule of what is attractive and what is not? The answer is NO ONE. Not a single person can change what they enjoy looking at, what image makes their pupils dilate and their heart skip a beat.

Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.

Stay true to yourself and have a great week!
